Seachem Alkaline Buffer 300g

Seachem Alkaline Buffer is a non-phosphate buffer designed to raise pH and alkalinity (KH) and buffer with Acid Buffer. These buffers are designed for the planted aquarium or for very hard water where phosphate buffers may pose an algae or cloudiness problem. Seachem Alkaline Buffer raises pH and buffers between 7.2 and 8.5. It is gentle, safe, and enhances the freshwater environment.
What distinguishes Seachem Alkaline Buffer from other buffers is that it does not contain phosphates. This makes it ideal for the planted aquarium, where excess phosphate could contribute to undesirable algae growth.

Directions
Use 7 g (1 level teaspoon) for every 40 litres daily until desired pH is reached (this dose raises alkalinity by about 2 meq/L (5.6 dKH)). If water is soft or not well buffered, use with Seachem Acid Buffer (see below). HINTS: Alkaline Buffer will not lower pH. It may be added directly to the aquarium at any time. It preferentially buffers at pH 7.8, but can manage any pH between 7.2 and 8.5 when used with Acid Buffer.

Small and lightweight items (below 2kg) will normally be sent via Royal Mail 1st class, and will be delivered within 5 days, usually next day.
Larger orders with a total weight over 2kg will normally be sent via parcel carrier for delivery within 2 working days.
Any orders placed after 11am on Saturday will be dispatched on Monday. If the order is placed over a bank holiday it cannot be dispatched until the first working day.
