Feeding:
Will eat a wide range of frozen foods, will only usually eat dried food if they sink. Occasionally refuse to eat, but our Saffron Gobies are guaranteed feeding.

Reef safe:
Yes, but not recommended for aquariums containing SPS corals as they feed and spawn on these and can cause damage.

Compatibility:
Peaceful, although do not always mix well with their own kind, if you wish to keep more than one, add them all at the same time. The larger the aquarium the less likely they are to fight. Try and avoid keeping in really busy aquariums this may prevent the Saffron Gobies getting sufficient food.

Other information
Saffron Gobies can produce a poisonous mucous that helps protect them against getting eaten. It is possible to breeding this species in the home aquarium
