Feeding:
Will eat frozen Mysis & Brineshrimp will take dried foods readily when settled. Appreciates some vegetable matter e.g. dried seaweed, Spirulina enriched Brinshrimp.

Reef safe:
Considered reef safe. Will graze on algae

Compatibility:
Like many Tangs can be aggressive to newcomers once established, don't keep with other fish of a similar body shape or colouration, but should mix well with other similar size fish. We would usually suggest adding a Tang as one of the last additions to an aquarium.

Other information.
Although not as prone to Whitespot as some Tangs, we would still recommend an using an Ultraviolet Steriliser, especially reef aquarium where treatment would be difficult. Pyjama Tangs are an active swimmer, ensure the aquarium has plenty of open space.
