Maximum size:
Reportedly to 60cm, we have had some in store for over 10 years and these have reached about 45cm

Suggested minimum aquarium size when adult:
600+ litres

Difficulty:
Easy, one of the easiest large tangs to keep.

Feeding:
Will eat frozen Mysis, Spirulina enriched Brineshrimp, will usually take dry foods too, once settled. Appreciate some veggie matter, e.g. Nori Seaweed.

Reef safe:
Yes, will graze on micro and macroalgae, but should be safe with all other reef aquarium inhabitants.

Compatibility:
Usually peaceful with similarly sized fish, although don't keep with similar looking species. Chance of keeping a group in a very large aquarium if all introduced together.

Other information.
Blue Spot Naso Tangs are active swimming species, provide plenty of open area. Can show or hide its blue marking depending on its mood.

Our Tangs are hand picked from TMC and rested on our premises for at least 7 days and guaranteed feeding before being offered for sale.

All marine fish are only available for collection and payment in store. We are happy to reserve a fish in stock for up to 5 days. However, this will still be shown on our website until collected. Fish not collected within the specified period will be offered for sale without further notice.
