Compatibility:
Peaceful, although they sometimes squabble amongst themselves, especially at feeding time. Avoid keeping with large or aggressive fish that may view them as food.

Other information:
Emerald Crabs get their name from the colour which usually deep green, although sometimes seen in brown colouration. The males are usually bigger and will develop large claws when mature. Emerald Crabs eat most types of algae that grow on rocks or the sand, but are especially useful in the control of Bubble Algae (Valonia sp.).
