\n
\nMaximum size:
\n20cm
\n
\nSuggested minimum aquarium size when adult:
\n300 litres
\n
\nDifficulty:
\nModerate- difficult
\n
\nFeeding:
\nFinicky feeder, will only usually eat frozen Mysis, Brineshrimp etc. This fish is guaranteed feeding at time of purchase, but easily put off its food by aggression or less than ideal water conditions.
\n
\nReef safe:
\nNo, like most larger Angels will eat many invertebrates. Should be safe large shrimps, crabs, snails etc.
\n
\nCompatibility:
\nPeaceful, does not do well in aquarium with active fish, these outcompete it for food and may starve. Not recommended to keep with other Angels or similar looking species.
\n
\nOther information
\nProvide plenty of cover and live rock for it to graze on. Not an easy species to feed initially, due to its sensitive nature we only recommend Regal Angels for experienced hobbyists. Small fish are more yellow, as they mature the vertical white, blue and yellow bands become more even.
