Difficulty:
Intermediate

Feeding:
Will eat most frozen foods including Plankton, Brineshrimp and Mysis. Will usually take dried foods when settled

Reef safe:
Great reef fish, although large specimens may eat small shrimp

Compatibility:
Usually mixes well with other peaceful fish of a similar size. Although these fish may live in a pair in the wild, they are best kept singularly in the aquarium, to prevent aggression.

Other information.
Happier in a reef aquarium where they will spend much of the time looking for food (Amphipods etc) with rock crevices. Buries in the sand at night or if threatened. We would suggest covering the aquarium as this species sometimes can jump out.

All marine fish are only available for collection and payment in store. We are happy to reserve a fish in stock for up to 5 days. However, this will still be shown on our website until collected. Fish not collected within the specified period will be offered for sale without further notice.
