Red Sea Cleaner Wrasse (Larabicus quadrilineatus)
Suggested minimum aquarium size when adult:
Will happily eat frozen Brineshrimp, Mysis and Plankton, will also eat marine flake when settled. Despite reports of being difficult to we have rarely encountered any problems. Our fish in store will be guaranteed feeding on frozen foods.
Reef safe when small, but as they grow their diet switches to SPS polyps, so we would not suggest containing this type of Coral. They should be safe with soft corals, polyps, Anemones, shrimps etc.
Red Sea Cleaner Wrasse can be aggressive with its own kind or similar looking species. Mixes well with most fish of a similar size. Not suggested for aquarium containing fish with poisonous mucous, e.g. Boxfish. If the Cleaner wrasse eats this mucous it may kill them.
There are many species of Cleaner Wrasse, this one occurs almost exclusively from the Red Sea.
