Size & type of aquariums 48" Planted aquarium Containing Koi Angels, Clown Loach, Dennisons Barbs & Rummynose tetras. 5 gallon Nano reef aquarium with various corals & Golden Neon Gobies. 40 gallon marine aquarium . Equipped with trickle filter, Midi flotor protein skimmer, nitrate reductor & IKS monitoring & control system (pH, ORP, temperature, oxygen & air pressure!), special lighting for night active species. This aquarium was specifically setup to keep Octopus & is escape proof. Nitrate is below 5ppm, Phosphate 0, nitrite & ammonia 0 ppm, pH around 8, Temp kept stable at 25.0 C with Teco micro heater/cooler & air conditioned room. Main areas of interest Rare & unusual fish, Tropical, Marine fish & invertebrates (especially crustaceans & Cephalopods). In the past I have kept many unusual species that include: Stingray's, fresh & saltwater varieties, Banded Catshark, Fresh water pipe fish, Remora, Gold dust angel (Apolemicthys xanthopunctatus),& Chaetodon mitratus, Seamoth, Weedy Scorpion fish (Rhinopias sp.), Seamoth, Flying Gurnard, various large Pimlodid catfish, Flatfish, Mudskippers. Octopus kept include: Mimic, Wunderpus, Bimaculoides, vulgaris, & Blue Ring!
