Compact aquariums
All aquariums are currently only available to personal callers at our retail premises in Peterborough. Small aquariums, are unsuitable for long term homes Goldfish as these will soon outgrow their surroundings. Instead, we would suggest keeping subtropical species, e.g. White Clouds, these do well in room temperature aquariums, so a heater is not required. For a greater variety of fish to choose from you may need to purchase a combined heater thermostat, to maintain the water temperature at around 25C, as they are not included with all aquariums. This will enable small tropical freshwater fish, of which many are suitable for the aquariums illustrated.
All fish require good water quality, so all aquariums feature a filter, this not only oxygenates the water, but helps keep it clean. Filters take a while before they reach maximum efficiency, so stock the aquarium slowly and add a bacterial starter to speed up the process.

| The Night & Day aquarium has a volume of just 17 litres and measures 37cm long X 23cm wide X 32cm high.

It has an 11w black light, like those used in nightclub' and It also has a normal 11w white light, the two in one switch on the back means that either both light, or just the black light can be switched on.
The Night & Day aquarium has plenty of filtration, hidden in the back is masses of foam, and space to add carbon or other chemical media.
