Our 400 gallon plant system in the centre of our livestock area is illuminated by seven 125w mecury vapour lamps and uses a CO2 fertilisation system to keep our plants in good health. Our aquarium plant system is re-stocked with dutch grown potted and bunched plants every Wednesday afternoon. At any one time we have around we have around 25 varieties of plants in 5cm pots, 5-10 species of bunched plants, as well as plants grown on wood and mosses. We have a good relationship with our supplier who we have known for over 15 years who can obtain most species of plants on request.
