Difficulty:
Intermediate

Feeding:
Will accept a wide range of frozen foods and flake, although requires frequent small feedings to do well long-term.

Reef safe:
Natural diet consists of plankton, so totally reef safe.

Compatibility:
Peaceful, avoid keeping with boisterous and aggressive fish. Best kept singularly or with in a large shoal with just one male.

Other information
The females of this species are orange, while the males are larger and a pinkish red. In a group of around ten, one of the males will change to a female, if this fish dies or is removed the most dominant female changes to a male. In our photo the upper fish is the female, the lower the male.
